American Museum of Natural History—New York City

No sight at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan is more breath taking than the Hall of Ocean Life's life size blue whale.  The renovation of this historic space was completed in May of 2003.  North American Theatrix was retained to build the massive network of video interactive, custom projection systems, Barco Sim6 based video wall, multi-channel soundscape, and integrated show control system.  Partnered with J.H. Electric of NY, North American Theatrix engineered, fabricated, and installed the entire system in only a few months.  Particular thanks go out to Frank Rasor (A.M.N.H.) and Sal Russo of Bovis Lend Lease, as well as Jeff Carlson; NAT's project manager/engineer for the project.
